If you are planning a large wedding with many bridesmaids & groomsmen, etc.,
you may need a rehearsal prior to the wedding. The purpose of a wedding
rehearsal is simply to show attendants and close family members where they
will sit, fit, walk and stand on your big day. This will hopefully allow
everyone to feel a little less stress about their roles in the actual
ceremony. It will also ensure that everyone is comfortable with the area
where the ceremony will take place
Does your entire wedding party fit
comfortably in that gazebo?
Will your wedding dress with its lovely train
send that unity candle tumbling?
We have done many weddings, even large ones, without the benefit of a
rehearsal. But if you would like Reverend Jerry to attend a practice
run-through, don't forget to check with us as soon as possible to find out
when he is available, and then check with your wedding location. We would
hate to find that you had set the rehearsal date only to discover we have
another commitment (such as a wedding) at the same time. Keep in mind that
planning a rehearsal for a Friday evening or sometime Saturday may make it
difficult for us to attend, because almost all weddings take place from
Friday afternoon through Sunday evening.
